Summer Fun ( Part 1)

We went to Logan on July 15th for Curt's wedding on the 16th. We got there and we found a cozy coupe for Landon to try out! You can't really tell, but he is enjoying it! He was totally relaxed with his leg hanging out of the door!We finally managed to get a picture of us with the newlyweds! The Maddox lodge in Brigham City is gorgeous and their food is fabulous! Their rolls are better than the Lion House! Go try them!

Intrducing Landon's newest Grandma, Kristie! Welcome to the family!

After the wedding, we went to the zoo. Landon loved anything that moved. The monkeys were his first favorite!

This is an elephant in case you weren't sure!:) The baby one wasn't doing anything at all so I got the big one!

I personally liked the giraffes

Landon is such a happy baby.....even in the heat!

He is the size of an infant Orangutan.......

and the same size as an infant gorilla! Jeff can't resist feeding the swans! It even bit his finger! Landon liked the ducks too!

The mister fans were very popular. Landon thought it was so funny! I promise!

Yes, that is my hair..... it felt good, though! As you can tell, Landon slept all the way home! He loved, loved, loved the ostrich, but I don't know what file I put that picture in. If I can find it, I'll post it!

I love these two boys! I can't get over his cute smile!

Summer fun (part 3)

We were so sunburned from our exciting day at Seven Peaks, we decided to get out the umbrella for the parade the next day. Landon liked the horses and people in the parade, but he was more interested in the dying butterfly in the gutter that kept flapping its wings. Silly kid! Landon and Daddy enjoying the parade.

My sister, Jenny, is in town for a few weeks so I had to get pics of her cute kiddos. This is T getting into our diaper bag. He's fascinated with anything that belongs to Landon and his diaper bag.

Here's T again, on Sunday, just enjoying the view. You can see how tired he is from all our fun!+

Here's Jeff, as usual, teasing the nieces. He takes their stuff, runs away to hide it, and makes them scream. He's pretending to eat it in this picture. The girls LOVE their uncle Jeff.

Landon and mommy! Look at his messy, messy face. It must have tasted good!

Jeff was messing with our camera settings. I liked this sepia one! He's focusing so hard on the button!

I had to post this cute boy in his church outfit! I love him in that shirt and tie combo. So cute!

We had a hotdog roasting adventure awhile back and as you can tell, Landon enjoyed the sticks we used to cook our hotdogs!

Here we are ready to cook our hotdog. Landon is distracted by the fire. We might just have another pyro in the family! Like Mother, like son! He was totally mesmerized by it!

We've been swimming a few times this summer, and Landon really enjoys his raft. We got so many compliments on his cute glasses, hat and raft. He was ready to swim!

As you can tell by this picture, he was ready to get the glasses off! He succeeded, but we still kept the hat on while we were near the water! We've had a lot of fun so far this summer, and I hope we can keep up the fun!

My sleeping beauty

Landon was home with his dad all day long! It looks like they may have played a bit too hard! He doesn't like to lay down if he can help it so this is how Jeff found him! Isn't he cute?!

He took this nap from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and still went to bed by 9:00 p.m. He must be having a growth spurt or something! We sure do love our little buddy!

St. George

We spent a lovely weekend in St. Geroge with the Martin Family a couple of weeks ago! The weather was gorgeous, our house was huge, and we had good food and good company! What more could you ask for? NO, this first pic is from before the trip! We had to give Landon his own remote to play with! He LOVES his new toy! Now both men of the house have their own!
Landon was just chillin with Kody as they watched a movie! He wouldn't put his leg down. Silly boy! Also, you can see what he's playing with............... the remotes!

This was Landon's favorite place to be! He didn't like the cold pool, but he loved the warm water. He's going to be able to fit all 5 fingers in his mouth before long!

Another hot tub shot! He was in heaven!
All of the cacti were in bloom. It's funny how a normally ugly plant can produce such pretty flowers!
This is us at the end of our mini hikes! We are at the Lower Emerald Pools in Zions. Landon stayed in that thing for about 3 hours. He's such a trooper! What a good boy! He loved looking around!

Landon and I decided to be adventurous and climb the rocks! Scary huh? Landon seemed to enjoy himself!

A storm came through the park while we were there! I'm glad we weren't in any slot canyons at this time!

I've never been there before, and it was so pretty! Not too hot, but perfect!

There were these cool cliffs that we "explored" 2 days in a row! They were really cool! It's hard to tell, but right behind me is a 140 foot drop off! It was a great weekend, and I'm ready to go again! I love spending days together as a family!

6 months old and growing like a weed

We just had Landon's 6 month pictures taken last night. Here are some of our faves. I forgot to download the darling one of him on a boogie board , but these are just as cute! I suggested for him to wear Jeff's hat, and they liked the idea. It is in our top 3 faves for sure!

He loves to show his tongue. He makes noises a lot and sticks his tongue out at the same time. He is so funny with his facial expressions. This boy can sure make us smile!

another one.................. keep scrolling down.............................

I love him in this shirt. I love bright colors on him. What am I talking about? I love him in most colors. He's just a cutie!

Get those blocks! Get those blocks! He was concentrating so hard. He wanted to grab them and tip them over, and....................he finally got them!

We busted up laughing when we previewed this picture! Death to the Teddy Bear! This has been his new face lately. He's breathing fast through his nose with his mouth closed. Pretty funny!

This is when he's really happy!

So cute! We love him so much!

It's been so long!

It seems like forever since I've posted something. Sorry! I have lots of cute pictures of my boy, but they are on our home computer. These pictures are from my phone, so pardon the blurrinessThis pic was taken last Saturday just after we got home from our long walk. He did pretty good with his hat!

Nana and Papa went to Hawai'i, and they brought him this cute, squishy teddy bear. He snuggled it all the way home, and fell asleep. He's such a cutie!

About a month ago I caught him trying to eat the plastic cylinder in fron of him. When I got his attention, he smiled a big one. I feel so lucky to have such a sweet boy in my family. He's such a good and happy baby. I couldn't have asked for a better boy!

Sundance and Landon

Wow! I am sooooooo behind! These are Landon's 3 month pictures we had done. He is now 4 months old. 12 lbs. 12 oz. (9th%) 25 inches long (50%). He's rather small, but the doctor isn't worried. This is my favorite picture yet! He looks so big!

He loves his tongue! It is ALWAYS sticking out of the corner of his mouth. What a cutie!

And the best blackmail picture of all time.... doesn't this scream wedding video?!

We went up to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival. We didn't see any celebrities, but we went to a good show! We went with Curt and his girlie "friend" Kristie. It was fun. We'll probably go next year too!
