It's been so long!

It seems like forever since I've posted something. Sorry! I have lots of cute pictures of my boy, but they are on our home computer. These pictures are from my phone, so pardon the blurrinessThis pic was taken last Saturday just after we got home from our long walk. He did pretty good with his hat!

Nana and Papa went to Hawai'i, and they brought him this cute, squishy teddy bear. He snuggled it all the way home, and fell asleep. He's such a cutie!

About a month ago I caught him trying to eat the plastic cylinder in fron of him. When I got his attention, he smiled a big one. I feel so lucky to have such a sweet boy in my family. He's such a good and happy baby. I couldn't have asked for a better boy!

Sundance and Landon

Wow! I am sooooooo behind! These are Landon's 3 month pictures we had done. He is now 4 months old. 12 lbs. 12 oz. (9th%) 25 inches long (50%). He's rather small, but the doctor isn't worried. This is my favorite picture yet! He looks so big!

He loves his tongue! It is ALWAYS sticking out of the corner of his mouth. What a cutie!

And the best blackmail picture of all time.... doesn't this scream wedding video?!

We went up to Park City for the Sundance Film Festival. We didn't see any celebrities, but we went to a good show! We went with Curt and his girlie "friend" Kristie. It was fun. We'll probably go next year too!

Baby blessing

We blessed Landon on the 27th of December. Jeff did a great job! This first picture isn't one of the greatest, but he's a cute kid! I'll post a better one of him when I figure out what happened to them! He's saying "Whoa Mom, you're a bit close!!!!" I know, Son, but it's the only one that's on my computer. We love you, anyway!

Landon and his Daddy. They are best buds!

We wanted to get a picture of Landon with all of his grandparents, but my parents left before we could get started. :( Here we have Nana and Papa (he gets no love at their house :) Just Kidding! You should see all the love he gets when he visits!

Here we have Grandpa Curtis...........He loves carrying the title of Grandpa! We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family. Thanks to my Mom and Diane for helping in the kitchen so much. You guys are the best!

Landon wore the same blessing outfit that Jeff was blessed in (minus the cowboy-booties :)) We had to try them on........Jeff did not like the booties. Landon just wore socks. He is one lucky, lovable,well-loved little boy who makes his parents very happy! We love you, Landon!

randomness

Here are just a few random pictures. I have some newer ones of the baby. I'll put them on in a couple of days!
This is the sexy minivan that Jeff gets the pleasure of driving until his car gets fixed! He LOVES it! Don't let him tell you otherwise! I thought he looked so cute all bundled up and ready to go in the car!

Landon is only 5 weeks old here. This is him with his Grannie (great grandma adams) at the Adams Family Christmas party. Oh how he loves his Grannie!

Look who's High-tech!

Holy smokes! Grandma Adams is finally connected to the wonderful world of technology! It's all right at her fingertips! I know she's going to kill me for posting this, but it's great! The family has already seen this photo, but I like it! Grandma, I hope you get a good laugh when you see this, and you won't kill me the next time I see you! I just thought it would be funny to see yourself when you open our blog! Give Toby a hug from Jeff. Love you tons!

Merry Christmas to All!

Do you see how cute our little 2 month old boy is? We took him to see Santa the other day, and as you an see he wasn't quite awake yet. I think he's stinkin cute! He had his 2 month check up the next day. He is now 10 lbs 1 oz and 23 inches long. He's tall and skinny. I love his cute fat rolls that are becoming more prominent. He is really good at blowing spit bubbles, putting himself to sleep at night, and moving his head from side to side. It's amazing to see the little things he does as such big milestones. He's been holding his head up since birth. I have not been peed on yet (knock on wood), and he loves bath time. When he's awake he looks like a little, cute monkey. He's such a wonderful boy. We are so blessed to have him in our family. We're excited to have Christmas together as a family. He makes me a very happy mamma!

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year! We hope you and your families are full of happiness!

Random pics

Here are just a few random pictures from the past 5 weeks of Landon's life! Here's our handsome little guy on his 4 week birthday. This picture doesn't quite do him justice. I'm just not a very good photographer. It's my favorite outfit so far!
Every first time mom needs a picture of the baby taking a Sunday nap with Daddy. They were both so exhausted! Aren't my boys handsome? I think so!
He loves to sleep with his hands by his face. This is how we find him all the time. If we try to keep his arms away from his face he just freaks out and cries until they're free from restraint!
We looked everywhere for a beanie for his newborn pics. This is the only one we could find that was big enough. We had to buy it at Build-a-Bear workshop! Please don't tell our son we found his clothes at a toy store! This was his dress rehearsal.

I love it when he's awake and alert! His Nana bought him this darling outfit! He looks so cute in it!

He's Here........

He's here! He's finally here! On Sunday October 25th, I had contractions all day long. I finally started timing them steadily around 2:30 p..m. and they were 5-7 minutes apart. We had a stake meeting that night at 4:30 p.m., and the contractions went to every 2-5 minutes. That meeting was excruciatingly long and uncomfortable for me. As soon as we found out what ward we were in, we left and went to Jeff's parent's house for dinner. On the way to their house, I called the hospital to see at what point I should go in and get checked. The nurse told me it was up to me, and gave me some suggestions to see if it was true labor if it was false. After contracting through an entire movie, we decided to go and checked out. After an hour and a half of being monitored, the nurses checked me and I had gone from a 2 to a 4. The doctor was there rather quickly and ready to break my water. He made a goal of having the baby by 8:00 a.m. He paused, and got the ultrasound machine to verify the baby's position. He found the baby's head up by my ribs, meaning he was breach, and told me we had to have a c-section. I was unfashionably calm through the whole thing. A few minutes later at 1:47 a.m. our beautiful baby boy was born. He was wide-eyed, alert and darling. He weighed 6lbs 6 oz and was 20.5 inches long. The above picture was right after he was born.
Pardon the look on my face! It was almost 2:00 in the morning, and I was exhausted! and feeling great after the spinal! For the first day, we called Landon our little old man because that's what he looked like. He was so long and skinny, but we love him, and glad he's finally here.
Here's the proud papa! Jeff's family came over the next day and the pictures were being snapped all over the place. Our son faces a long life of "snap happy" grandparents! :)
If you look closely you can see that he already has his father's attitude! He decided to give Grandpa Curtis the "bird". He's just telling us all that he loves us!
Our little squirt a few days after we got home! The first night home he went through 3 pairs of pajamas, 2 blankets, and lots and lots of diapers. Wow! What a wake up call for us new parents! We love him more each day, and glad we were blessed with such a sweet boy!

Shower and 35!

I had my first baby shower on Saturday. As you can tell it turned out really cute! Our nursery has the Dr. Seuss theme so my mother-in-law threw me a Dr. Seuss shower. I had no idea so I was really surprised. We had ham and green deviled eggs, pink and green cupcakes. Zucchini soup and Jones soda! She had Dr. Seuss books and stuffed animal characters around the basement as decorations. Thanks Diane for the wonderful shower. I know it was a lot of work for you all by yourself! I really appreciate it!

This is the diaper cake that she had made. Isn't Horton cute on top? It's full of fun toys and baby items. I can't bring myself to take it apart yet because it's so cute! It's still sitting on my kitchen table. I smile when I look at it.

Such a creative idea for the cupcakes. They were key lime cupcakes and Pink lemonade cupcakes.

Pardon the retarded look on my face. I guess I blinked when the picture was taken. I knew the moment I saw this outfit that Jeff would love it. I wa right! Oh, I was TOLD to wear the hat because I was Dr. Seuss. We had family pictures afterward, but it didn't mess up my hair too much! :)

Again I appologize for not looking at the camera. We got this cute present from Nana and Poppy. It was a swing/bouncer duo. Plus, the book had a note from them in the front cover. I read the book to him yesterday when I got home from church. It's called "Are you my mother?" He liked it, I'm sure. It's the first book I've ever read to him.
Family pictures went well. I hope I don't look too much like a baluga whale in the family pictures. Everyone seemed to cooperate for the most part (Nick was a bit of a whiner, but what's new?!) :) The photographer was pretty funny so that helped with getting the boys to smile.
We had some friends come over that night and we ate and played the wii until 11:00 p.m. I was exhausted by that point, but I had a great day. Thanks to everyone for a great shower and day!

The strangest thing!

The strangest thing happened to me at lunch today. Jeff and I went to Zupas in Provo. If you haven't been there, you should go. Their ultimate grilled cheese sandwich is heavenly. Anyway, we got our food and sat down to eat and before I knew it, I was chilly! This is strange because I'm NEVER cold. Especially since I've been pregnant. It got so bad in the restaurant, I almost started shivering. I was glad to be contently full, and walking outside to the lovely warmth of the sun!
