Summer fun (part 2)

We went camping for a couple of night during the week of the 24th of July! It was fun, but oh so hot! We found a really great campground up in Midway! The squirrells were in abundance, and we were close to a restroom and shower. What more could I ask for? We went to Cascade Springs one day and Jeff (the awesomest photgrapher ever) got some good shots of the water! I love this picture of the springs. It's SO good!

We saw lots of these dudes flying around! Landon loved it!

Our family picture on the bridge. Landon was distracted by the running water! The second night was a thunder storm. I'm not a fan of thunder and lightning when I'm outside....ESPECIALLY when there is lightning and thunder!

We enjoyed our time at the springs. Can you tell?

Just one more!

This is the view on the way down the mountain!

Landon was exhausted from all of the fun so Jared S. gave him some Oakleys to play with! What was he thinking? Luckily, it put Landon to sleep and no injuries occured to the Oakleys!(whew!)

Jared and Amy bought Landon some cookies for a treat. You can tell he loves himself a good cookie! He rubbed it on the dirt, and in some ash, but he didn't care. It was good. It also gave me a good excuse to take a shower while camping... Landon was filthy, and I had to fix it!

We had to beat the heat with what we could find. Dear slurpee, why didn't we find you sooner?!

We went to the Park City Outlets the next day, and as you can see, Landon loved the "new" stroller for the day. He loves a good walk!

I know he'll kill me later for this one (if Jeff hasn't already), but I couldn't resist. We need to have girls. Look how cute they'd look with bows and flowers in their hair! Jeff didn't like it, Mom loved it, and Landon wasn't too sure of anything!

We went to seven peaks a couple of days later. Can you tell his nap schedule got all out of wack during the week. Landon managed to take a good one at the water park. It's about the only picture we took at 7 Peaks! I wasn't about to take any of me! It was fun to hang out with the family! I got fried on my back, but tan everywhere else. I'll take it!

Summer Fun ( Part 1)

We went to Logan on July 15th for Curt's wedding on the 16th. We got there and we found a cozy coupe for Landon to try out! You can't really tell, but he is enjoying it! He was totally relaxed with his leg hanging out of the door!We finally managed to get a picture of us with the newlyweds! The Maddox lodge in Brigham City is gorgeous and their food is fabulous! Their rolls are better than the Lion House! Go try them!

Intrducing Landon's newest Grandma, Kristie! Welcome to the family!

After the wedding, we went to the zoo. Landon loved anything that moved. The monkeys were his first favorite!

This is an elephant in case you weren't sure!:) The baby one wasn't doing anything at all so I got the big one!

I personally liked the giraffes

Landon is such a happy baby.....even in the heat!

He is the size of an infant Orangutan.......

and the same size as an infant gorilla! Jeff can't resist feeding the swans! It even bit his finger! Landon liked the ducks too!

The mister fans were very popular. Landon thought it was so funny! I promise!

Yes, that is my hair..... it felt good, though! As you can tell, Landon slept all the way home! He loved, loved, loved the ostrich, but I don't know what file I put that picture in. If I can find it, I'll post it!

I love these two boys! I can't get over his cute smile!

Summer fun (part 3)

We were so sunburned from our exciting day at Seven Peaks, we decided to get out the umbrella for the parade the next day. Landon liked the horses and people in the parade, but he was more interested in the dying butterfly in the gutter that kept flapping its wings. Silly kid! Landon and Daddy enjoying the parade.

My sister, Jenny, is in town for a few weeks so I had to get pics of her cute kiddos. This is T getting into our diaper bag. He's fascinated with anything that belongs to Landon and his diaper bag.

Here's T again, on Sunday, just enjoying the view. You can see how tired he is from all our fun!+

Here's Jeff, as usual, teasing the nieces. He takes their stuff, runs away to hide it, and makes them scream. He's pretending to eat it in this picture. The girls LOVE their uncle Jeff.

Landon and mommy! Look at his messy, messy face. It must have tasted good!

Jeff was messing with our camera settings. I liked this sepia one! He's focusing so hard on the button!

I had to post this cute boy in his church outfit! I love him in that shirt and tie combo. So cute!

We had a hotdog roasting adventure awhile back and as you can tell, Landon enjoyed the sticks we used to cook our hotdogs!

Here we are ready to cook our hotdog. Landon is distracted by the fire. We might just have another pyro in the family! Like Mother, like son! He was totally mesmerized by it!

We've been swimming a few times this summer, and Landon really enjoys his raft. We got so many compliments on his cute glasses, hat and raft. He was ready to swim!

As you can tell by this picture, he was ready to get the glasses off! He succeeded, but we still kept the hat on while we were near the water! We've had a lot of fun so far this summer, and I hope we can keep up the fun!
